History and Experience...
Forthcoming Publications was established in 2003 by Duncan
Burns (BA, PhD – Biblical Studies, University of Sheffield),
and is built upon more than 10 years of copy-editing and typesetting
experience.
The combination of editorial expertise and academic training
ensures that manuscripts are scrutinised by a reader with
the necessary skills to check the minutiae of the text and
to see beyond them.
Our portfolio of projects includes the internationally renowned Journal for the Study of the Old Testament (since 1997) and
the Journal for the Study of the Pseudepigrapha (since 2000),
both of which are managed on behalf of SAGE Publications.
Recent additions to the portfolio include the production of Postscripts: The Journal of Sacred Texts and Contemporary Worlds and the Australian Religion Studies Review, for Equinox Publishing.
